Within this strategic policy that provide the continue of the vital works in normal circumstances and even in the emergencies cases, crises, and to continue developing a flexible system to the organizations has as objective to providing efficient services, this framework shall implement, improve and maintain the business continuity system in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 22301, the National Standard 7000 NCEMA, and the relevant guides issued by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority in a manner that ensures the permanent availability of services, implementation of operations, and meeting of requirements and expectations of relevant parties without delay or negative impact resulting from emergency situations, crises and disasters.
- Determination of vital activities, analysis and evaluation of their requirements necessary for business continuity within limits that ensure that the requirements of stakeholders and relevant parties are not affected;
- Evaluation and analysis of the impact of the vital activities cessation on the works in emergency situations (disasters, terrorist attacks, workers strikes, cyberattacks, building collapse, information security breach, etc.).
- Protection against downtimes, reduction of the probability or impact of downtimes occurrence, and preparation of a mechanism of preparedness, response, and recovery;
- Determination and evaluation of the timescale necessary to restore work, activities and services after any incident occurs;
- Assessment of risks, protection of lives and property, improvement of the procedures and services that let the ability to survive and work during disturbances/emergencies, and demonstration of proactive risk control effectively and efficiently.
